Dania Beach makes her mark
Up against the wall and unable to tear it down- I have been seeking the zone and found an intermediary. I have a picture that represents it on my phone. It is of a marginally dilapitated but working fun park in motion at dusk. We see the other side of this park from I-95, the scaffolded unusable rollercoaster. The sky: vast, pink and auburn- makes way for dinner that includes a phone call, gratituious language perhaps and feelings in the measure of a boulder sized clouds...
Am I getting this right?
Be, don't do. Clear. Create. Impact. Discern.....
I have stopped getting on the internet for reasons that are shallow- for reasons that have become mechanisms that serve only themselves. Strong coffee, eyes open, gingerale bubbles surface inside as I heed the advice: don't get too mischievous.

I complain about the shark fin soup on the menu at Stella's in NOLA after eating a perfectly cooked filet of salmon. My email goes unanswered. Three months later after a food writer reviews the restaurant, a whole lot of other people get ripped about the menu item. (The jist is that sharks are preyed upon solely for their fins and then left to suffer to death by drowning. Even CNN amply covered the issue in its Planet in Peril series.) Chef/owner Scott Boswell ultimately responds to the stream of disappointment by taking the dish off the menu. He decides to substitute the fins with shrimp...
And the salmon? And the shrimp? And the practices around all the food we eat?
The merging of cause and effect, or RENGE, has been symbolized by the lotus flower as well as a linear graphic organizer I have disseminated in countless literacy workshops...Thought based, rooted in feeling, or some how a hybridization of either...
Nam...What does make up the uneven devotion that fuels or abandons our will to write an email about marketing that's gone too far? And what does it mean if that effort becomes subsumed by a follow through that supports more practices of the ugly?

Fernando proves life in the informal
There was no program or funder or board but a man, a father, who knew how to make an impromptu group of hot kids focus on a structure. Fernando's rules were simple: I pitch the ball, you hit it, you dump a bucket of water on me, you miss and we plunge you...oh the focus and brilliance of the informal. His son and dozens of other kids relished his day off from the hospital.
Adoration
is multiple rides on the Tram, just to overdo it with someone who invites you to adore them...
